ADIB-Egypt wins 7 global banking awards in 2019

ADIB-Egypt continues its unprecedented achievements, wraps up 2019 with 7 global banking awards
International institutions award ADIB-Egypt their prizes for its remarkable growth, financial and administrative performance throughout 2019
Cairo - 19 January: Throughout 2019, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt (ADIB-Egypt) won several prestigious awards from world-renowned magazines known for their impartial choices which are based on financial results and market achievements.
Thanks to its remarkable financial results and solid administrative performance in 2019, ADIB-Egypt won The Best Islamic Financial Institution 2019 from Global Finance magazine, one of the world’s top business and banking industry publications.
The bank, for the first time, won the Egypt’s Top Innovators in Islamic Finance award from Global Finance magazine for its relentless pursuit of excellence in many banking aspects. The awards were presented at a special ceremony in Dubai last September.
The bank also won The Best Islamic Retail Banking Services in Egypt 2019 award from the Banker Middle East Magazine, The Best Islamic Bank in Egypt 2019 award from The Banker magazine, the Fastest Growing SME Bank in Egypt 2019 award from Global Banking and finance magazine, The Best Islamic Consumer Bank award from International Finance magazine, and The Best Islamic Bank in Egypt 2019 award form Islamic Finance News magazine. In addition, the bank was named among Egypt’s top 100 companies during the annual bt100 Summit organized by the leading economic magazine Amwal Al Ghad.
ADIB-Egypt CEO and MD Mohamed Aly expressed his great gratitude for winning these distinguished banking awards, stressing that this recognition indicates that ADIB-Egypt succeeded in maintaining its success over the past years.
He also underscored the importance of the seven awards in bolstering competitiveness of ADIB-Egypt’s financial products and services, and drawing the attention of the financial community towards great its achievements, in addition to maintaining the bank’s distinguished position in the market. “These awards highlight efforts and dedication of ADIB-Egypt’s team in serving our customers throughout the year,” Aly added.
