Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt launches the first real “Cash Back Card”
First Time in Egypt Cash Back on Purchase Values without a Maximum amount limit or Limited Promotion Time
Cash Withdrawal up to 100% of Card Limit
Cairo, 2013 – For the first time in the Egyptian banking market with exclusive features, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) Egypt launched a Shari’a compliant Cash Back Card with unique advantages for customers.
The Cash Back Card, launched in cooperation with MasterCard, offers a cash back system with a discount of 2% on all purchases made within Egypt and 5% on purchases abroad, without a maximum amount limitor a limited promotion time. Customers can use their Cash Back card at more than 32 million outlets around the world that carry the MasterCard logo.
Nevine Loutfy, Managing Director and CEO of ADIB Egypt, stated, “The launch of the Cash Back Card comes as part of the bank’s strategic policy of providing competitive and unique products in the banking market that are Shari’a compliant and meet the needs and changing demands of customers. Additional distinguished products and services will be launched throughout the rest of 2013.”
The Shari’a compliant Cash Back Card offers a variety of other advantages, including cash withdrawal up to 100% of the cash card limit which is useful in case of unforeseen circumstances, a grace period of up to 55 days for cash withdrawals and purchases in addition to instant discounts within a large network of stores in Egypt that meet customers’ needs.
Furthermore, the Cash Back Card enables cardholders to issue three additional cards for family members for free at any time, while enjoying distinct banking services 24/7through ADIB Egypt’s call center or through the bank’s network of 70 branches spread across the country. Also, Cash Back Card customers benefit from the Takaful insurance program on card’s balance in case of death through the Egyptian Takaful Insurance Company.
